Fairchild Air Force Base reduced the number of people reporting for duty this week as a COVID-19 precaution.
Only key and mission-essential military personnel, along with civilian employees, will report for duty as scheduled starting Monday, according to a Facebook post from Fairchild.
All other personnel were asked to remain on telephone standby for further guidance from unit leadership.
The Child Development Center is set to remain open as normal, as is the on-base pharmacy.
The changes are not expected to affect on-base visitors at this time, per the base’s Facebook page.
