An inspirational video posted in April 2019 from the United States Air Force outlines what it means to be a part of one of America’s finest fighting forces. The narration also expresses gratitude towards those who chose to serve and protect this great country.
The video is part of a number of new short films meant to showcase the lives of our men and women in uniform. This particular video focuses on aviators.

“Today’s Air Force is the best in the world and the reason is obvious — our people,” the video description states. “Pure and simple. It’s no secret, a life of service can be hard and demanding – yet, our Airmen demonstrate an unrivaled dedication and inspiring willingness to serve. That’s why it’s important to recognize – publicly and often – the incredible work that is done every day, everywhere across the Air Force.”

“Capturing that work, that attitude and the people behind it, is the focus of a new series of short films called ‘Because of You,'” the video explains. “The first is about aviators, another looks at the lives and work of our maintainers, and there will be others to follow.”

The video is an incredible montage of some of the opportunities individuals have when they choose to join the Air Force. From piloting fighter jets to maintaining the aircraft and learning combat skills, the Air Force offers the chance for individuals to learn, grow and be apart of something great.

“For being willing to strap on our nation’s business, for the sacrifices you and your families have made, and for the sacrifices you will make, thank you,” the video’s narrator says at the end of the montage.
“We are the best damn Air Force on the planet because of you. And with you, we are only going to get better.”
