Iranian Navy’s submarines will be equipped with Jask-2 missiles, Commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said.
“The mass production of these missiles has been launched,” Khanzadi added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
The admiral added that the radius of the Jask 2 missiles will be increased and will attract attention in the future.
“At the same time, a new project called Jask 3, covering the kinds of missiles at submarines, is being implemented,” Khanzadi said.
The Iranian admiral said that the military exercises among Iran, Russia and China will be held next month in the Indian Ocean.
“The purpose of the military exercises is to ensure the collective security and help strengthen the security in the Indian Ocean,” Khanzadi said.
