Though Hillary Clinton has not announced her intentions to run for President in 2020, a recent Fox News poll indicates she may hold a slight edge over her 2016 rival, President Donald Trump.

The polling question determined that, in a hypothetical rematch between the 2016 opponents, Clinton would take 43 percent of the vote to Trump’s 41 percent. Another nine percent of respondents indicated they would choose another candidate entirely and three percent said they would not vote at all in the hypothetical match-up.

The Fox poll conducted during Oct. 27-30 surveyed 1,040 registered voters and was conducted jointly by the direction of Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). Forty-nine percent of poll respondents included Democrats while 41 percent identified as Republicans and 11 percent did not indicate affiliate to either of the two parties.

The poll has a ± 3 percent margin of error, indicating Trump could see a virtual tie with Clinton.

The apparent match up between Clinton and Trump may fuel speculation about a potential 2020 run for Clinton.

Another poll question asked Democratic respondents if they were satisfied with the current field of Presidential candidates, and 69 percent of those respondents said they were satisfied with their choices for Democratic candidates, while 28 percent wish there were other options.

In October, Clinton had said, “Maybe there does need to be a rematch. I mean, obviously I can beat him again.”

While Clinton did win a popular vote victory in 2016, Trump’s electoral college strategy won more states and their electoral college voters.

Clinton also recently voiced her support for impeaching Donald Trump. Clinton’s comments followed whistleblower allegations that Trump improperly pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former-Vice President and current Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Trump has also challenged Clinton a rematch in recent weeks, challenging her to take votes away from “Uber Left Elizabeth Warren.” Trump also challenged Clinton to explain why she deleted 33,000 emails under congressional subpoena.

The latest Fox poll also determined that Biden and fellow contenders Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren would also beat Trump in a match-up, with all three forming a greater margin against Trump than the hypothetical Clinton match-up margin against the current president.

According to the poll, Biden would have 51 percent of voters to Trump’s 39 percent in a match-up. Sanders would have 49 percent to Trump’s 41 percent, while Warren would have 46 percent to Trump’s 41 percent.
