This is a breaking story. Please check back for updates as more information becomes available.

An individual has set themselves on fire outside the White House — the second incident in less than two months.

Video shows an individual ablaze on the lawn before he is extinguished by law enforcement.

Photos show the man engulfed in flames.

“At approximately 12:20 p.m. a man lit himself on fire on the Ellipse near 15th and Constitution Ave., Secret Service personnel are on scene assisting @NatlParkService and @usparkpolicepio in rendering first aid,” the U.S. Secret Service tweeted at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Few pictures on social media show a smokey scene with law enforcement present.

No details were made available about the suspect or their condition.

An identical situation happened last month when a man set his jacket on fire outside the White House, prompting Secret Service to respond and extinguish the flames, which had caused a significant amount of smoke.
