The Pentagon on Thursday identified the two U.S. soldiers who were killed this week in a vehicle wreck in Kuwait.

The soldiers are:
- Sgt. Holli R. Bolinski, 37, of Pinckneyville, Illinois, and
- Spc. Jackson D. Johnson, 20, of Hillsboro, Missouri.
The soldiers were assigned to the 657th Transportation Company, 419th Transportation Battalion, 103d Sustainment Command out of Illinois and were deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

They died March 5 in a non-combat related incident. The incident is under investigation, the Defense Department said.
