Former White House Communications Director Hope Hicks, who is from Connecticut, is cooperating with a House Judiciary Committee investigation into President Donald Trump.
CNN first reported the development Wednesday, citing comments by a spokesman for committee Chairman Jerry Nadler.
The committee is seeking documents related the firing of FBI Director James Comey, hush money payments paid by Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to adult film star Stormy Daniels, false statements by former national security adviser Michael Flynn and a 2016 Trump Tower Meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a group of Russians.
Hicks left the White House in February and later landed a job with Fox as executive vice president and chief communications officer. The Greenwich native had been one of the few holdovers in Trump’s inner circle who survived from the campaign. The former model previously handled public relations for Ivanka Trump and her fashion line.
