Three additional suspicious packages containing pipe bombs were discovered early Thursday morning.
Former Vice President Joe Biden and actor Robert De Niro are the latest Democratic figures to receive manila envelopes containing pipe bombs, according to CNBC News.
All three packages were intercepted during processing and did not make it to their intended recipients.
Local law enforcement told NBC News that the first of two packages addressed to Biden was discovered at a post office in New Castle, Del.
A second package addressed to Biden was discovered at a post office in Wilmington, Del. Nothing was found at Biden’s home.

The NYPD bomb squad removed the package while the restaurant remained closed.
The pipe bomb packages are the latest in a series of bomb packages addressed to Democratic politicians and figures on Monday and Wednesday.
The first package was identified in an isolated incident on Monday when it was discovered outside the home of billionaire George Soros. The package was discovered in a mailbox outside his compound by a worker, and later revealed to be a pipe bomb.
Two days later on Wednesday morning, three pipe bombs packages were intercepted and confirmed to be addressed to former First Lady Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, and former CIA Director John Brennan at CNN headquarters.
Later in the day, even more packages surfaced.
One package was sent to the office of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, whose Sunrise, Fla. office was listed as the return address for all the discovered packages. The package was originally sent to the office of former Attorney General Eric Holder, but returned to the address of Wasserman Schultz.

Also late Wednesday, two packages were intercepted in two different cities addressed to Rep. Maxine Waters. One package was sent to her Washington, D.C office, prompting an evacuation. The other package was addressed to Waters at her home address.
“We have now confirmed two additional packages, both addressed to Rep. Maxine Waters, that are similar in appearance to the other packages,” the FBI said.
White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders condemned the attacks in a statement saying, “These terrorizing acts are despicable, and anyone responsible will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
“The United States Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies are investigating and will take all appropriate actions to protect anyone threatened by these cowards,” Sanders added.
