Afghan officials say at least 25 people have been killed by a suicide bomber who carried out an attack in a mostly Shi’ite neighborhood on the west side of Kabul.

The attack on August 15 occurred in front of an educational center in Kabul’s Dasht-e Barcha neighborhood.

Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish said the blast was caused by a suicide bomber.

Afghan officials said at least 35 people were wounded by the explosion.
