The 58-year-old veteran who set himself on fire outside the Georgia State Capitol building in Atlanta last week has died.
John Michael Watts, an Air Force veteran, died Monday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced this week, saying that an investigation into the incident will continue.

The veteran set himself on fire with a combination of fireworks and gasoline.
Georgia State Patrol officers extinguished the veteran and brought him to Grady Memorial Hospital in an ambulance.
Watts had burns to 85 to 90 percent of his body.
No one else at the scene was hurt.
