Over the weekend in Gotham, 10 incidents resulted in 16 separate shootings, including one fatality, within a 7-hour span.
The trail of carnage began at 9:43 p.m. on Saturday night in the Bronx at the corner of West 166th Street and Nelson Avenue when a lone gunman driving a black sedan fired six rounds, The New York Post reported.
He hit two young men — an 18-year-old struck in the shoulder, and a 20-year-old in the eye and abdomen.
Shortly after, an 18-year-old man was shot in the chest at Brooklyn’s Gravesend Houses.
At 10:26 p.m., a 26-year-old was shot in the leg in Brooklyn.

At 10:35 p.m. again in Brooklyn, a 15-year-old was shot in the ankle.
The violence continued early Sunday morning. At 1:02 a.m. in Queens, a 22-year-old was shot in the leg.
At 1:09 a.m., a 39-year-old man suffered four shots to his back at Astoria’s Ravenswood Houses.
Around 1:28 a.m., 21-year-old Rashawn Pope was fatally shot in the chest at the corner of West 125th Street and 12th Avenue in Harlem. Pope was pronounced dead at 2:06 a.m., according to police.
Around the same time, three men were shot on Brooklyn’s Fulton Street when a barrage of bullets sprayed the area.
At 2:22 a.m., two people at a house party were grazed by stray bullets while standing at the corner of Wickham and Givan avenues in the Bronx.
At 4:22 a.m, a 29-year-old and a 37-year-old were each shot in the leg near 180th Street and Baisley Boulevard.
At 11 a.m., police say an intoxicated man stabbed his girlfriend’s 24-year-old son in the neck inside the woman’s Bronx apartment.
