A U.S. Navy sailor has died in Africa, the Pentagon announced late Tuesday.
Petty Officer 1st Class Matthew I. Holzemer, of Tennessee, died June 17 at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, from a non-combat related incident.

The sailor was supporting Special Operations Command Forward – East Africa for U.S. Africa Command.
There are no other details available at this time, and the incident is under investigation, the Pentagon said.
