A veteran set himself on fire outside the Georgia State Capitol building in Atlanta on Tuesday morning.
The unidentified veteran was protesting his treatment by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The veteran set himself on fire with a combination of fireworks and gasoline, a local Fox affiliate reported.
Georgia State Patrol officers extinguished the veteran and brought him to Grady Memorial Hospital in an ambulance.

The veteran’s condition is not known at this time.
No one else at the scene was hurt.
