Grunt Style is reading aloud the names of every fallen service member from Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).
Grunt Style is a veteran-owned and -operated military apparel company based in Illinois, and CEO Daniel Alarik is an Army veteran.
There are nearly 7,000 U.S. service members who have died in OEF or OIF since 2001.
“Thank you for reading their names, we must never forget the sacrifice they made on our behalf. I owe them a debt I can never possibly repay, but I am forever grateful,” one user commented on the live Facebook video.
“#neverforget… RIP to everyone who didn’t come back home,” another person said.
“Rest In Peace, my brothers, I miss you guys,” one user wrote.
Memorial Day is Monday, May 28.
“We have taken the American fighting spirit and instilled it in everything we do. […],” Grunt Style says. “We provide more than apparel, we instill pride.”
