The Atlanta Braves baseball team posted a touching photo to Twitter on Memorial Day that shows an unknown fan holding an umbrella over a JROTC cadet standing at the stadium’s POW/MIA memorial in the rain.
The photo has since gone viral.
The caption simply reads: “Respect.”

Local news outlets reported that the cadet is a U.S. Marine Corps JROTC member from Parkview High School.
The SunTrust Park memorial is dedicated to U.S. service members who were prisoners of war (POW) or missing in action (MIA).
There is an empty chair, and a plaque reads: “Since World War I, more than 92,000 American soldiers are unaccounted for. This unoccupied seat is dedicated to the memory of these brave men and woman and to the sacrifices made in serving this country.”
