A search party had been launched.
Five days after he went missing, Adams’ body was found on Saturday by a group of hikers on the Gray Wolf Trail in the forest.
His body was found down an embankment in an area of a bridge washout, Clallam County Sheriff’s officials said.
There is no foul play suspected, and the cause of death will be determined by the coroner, officials said.
