UPDATE, Thursday, May 31 – A manhunt is still underway for a second suspect after a Dickson County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot and killed in Tennessee early Wednesday morning.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced that one suspect was detained and later arrested in the murder of Sgt. Daniel Baker.
NEW: She was detained earlier today, but TBI has now arrested and charged this Dickson woman with First Degree Murder in the ongoing investigation into the death of Sgt. Daniel Baker.

The TBI is now searching for Steven Wiggins, a second suspect in the murder.

The bureau has posted numerous photos of Wiggins, and is asking anyone who might see him not to confront him, but to call 911.

There is also a $7,500 reward being offered for information that can lead to Wiggins’ arrest.

A manhunt is underway for an armed suspect officials say shot and killed a Dickson County Sheriff’s Deputy in Tennessee early Wednesday morning.
A local news agency reported that the deputy was shot and killed, citing a high-ranking official with the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The Sheriff’s Deputy, who has yet to be identified, reportedly tried to stop a driver with an expired tag around 7 a.m.; there was a brief chase and then shots were exchanged, the police source told WKRN.
Dickson County Mayor Bob Rial confirmed to WKRN that the suspect is at large.
The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office sent out an alert that an armed subject was in the area of Bear Creek and Valley Road, and that residents should report anyone who looks suspicious.
