Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is currently traveling to North Korea to prepare for the upcoming meeting between North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump, the President said Tuesday.

“Secretary Pompeo is on his way to North Korea in preparation for my upcoming meeting with Kim Jong Un,” Trump said after he made remarks about the U.S. withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal.

“He will be there very shortly… probably an hour,” Trump said around 2:30 p.m. EST. “He has meetings set up.”

The President said his meeting with Kim is scheduled, and that the location, date and time have been picked. Trump did not mention any of those details, however.
“We think relationships are building with North Korea,” he said, adding: “We’ll see how it all works out. Maybe it will [work out], maybe it won’t.”
