Police responded to a shooting at the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, Tennessee, and one person was shot, authorities said Thursday. The suspected shooter is now in custody.

The shooting apparently broke out over a “dispute,” the Metro Nashville Police Department said.
“One person shot. Suspected shooter in custody. No additional imminent threat known,” it tweeted. “Mall being swept by MNPD officers as a precaution.”

One “adult female” was shot and transported to a local hospital in “critical condition,” the Nashville Fire Department tweeted.
There were no other gunshot victims reported, the department said.
