“We’ve found no evidence of collusion,” Republican Rep. Mike Conaway had told reporters. Conaway led the committee’s investigation.
President Trump tweeted following the report’s release on Friday, again calling the investigation a “witch hunt.”
“Just Out: House Intelligence Committee Report released. ‘No evidence’ that the Trump Campaign ‘colluded, coordinated or conspired with Russia.’ Clinton Campaign paid for Opposition Research obtained from Russia- Wow! A total Witch Hunt! MUST END NOW,” he said.
