Newly released video shows a U.S. Navy pilot encountering an unidentified flying object (UFO) in 2015, CNN recently reported.
The video, first obtained by To the Stars Academy of the Arts and Sciences, is titled “GO FAST” and was released on Friday. The organization was co-founded by former Blink182 musician Tom DeLonge. Dr. Hal Puthoff, a NASA and Defense Department adviser, and James Semivan, a former CIA member, are also members of the organization.
“This footage was captured by a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet using the Raytheon ATFLIR Pod that was being operated by a highly trained aerial observer and weapons system operator whom the government has spent millions of dollars to train,”according to a statement from the group.
“Go Fast reveals a Navy encounter that occurred off the East Coast of the United States in 2015 and the object in view remains unidentified,” the statement continued.
The footage comes just a few months after the revelation that the Pentagon shelved a program in 2012 that investigated UFOs. During the investigation, two videos were found of Navy pilots encountering unknown objects.
“These are just three videos now that have come out that everybody’s looking at,” said Luis Elizondo, the former head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, CNN reported. “But there is far more compelling evidence that I was privy to that – you know, I think you’re looking at the tip of the iceberg.”
“What the f*ck is that thing,”a pilot can be heard saying the video.
