Two students were shot inside a Sal Castro Middle School classroom in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Police said a male and female student were injured, The Associated Press reported.

A female student has reportedly been taken into custody, a local CNN affiliate reported.

“The situation is under control,” police Sgt. Edward Bernal told CNN.
The condition of the two injured students was not known at this time.
