Two men with a fake gun trying to rob a 7-Eleven convenience store in New Jersey were quickly thwarted when a security guard walked in and shot them with a real gun.
As the two hooded robbery suspects climbed over the counter armed with a fake gun and tried to rob the store in Hamilton, New Jersey, a security guard quickly walked through and fired at the two men.
The store cashier held his hands in the air while the encounter took place.
One of the men in the video can quickly be heard yelling “It’s fake” when the armed security guard walks in, referring to the gun the two men tried to rob the store with.
As the robbers lied down on the ground, the security guard can be heard saying: “Oh well, mine is real.”
The security guard then told the men to put their hands behind their backs. He also ordered the store cashier to call 911.
One of the two robbers can be seen in the video with a wound in his right arm. The extent of any injuries is not clear.
One of the robbers asked the security guard if he was shot.
“Oh, f**k yeah,” he replied.
