This summer, I had the pleasure to learn more about the Remington Outdoor Company. I met some of the most educated and innovative people in the industry who all share a passion for producing quality firearms and ammunition that will suit the shooting needs of our great American gun-loving history and traditions. Everything from heavy bull barrel rifles that reach out to over 1,000 yards, to sporting rifles of all sizes and capabilities; from their vast Remington 870 series of shotguns to their handgun line that produces full size 1911s, and to pocket-sized concealed carry pistols, the Remington Outdoor Company makes it. Add to that, feeding those firearms with their full line of all-purpose ammunition, including hunting, self defense and target loads, we learn that Remington Outdoors produces everything, no matter what your shooting passion desires.
At Shot Show 2018, the huge Remington Showroom was covered wall-to-wall with firearms, ammunition displays and helpful Remington employees walking around to assist those of us who wanted to learn more about their products. There was an elevated degree of energy in that showroom that could be felt as onlookers roamed throughout, grabbing gun after gun while checking out both their newest firearm releases along with their long-standing, tired and true reputable firearms.
Not to be outdone by other reviewers, I grabbed my camera and went to work. My goal was to capture (or at least attempt to capture) all of their newest releases for 2018. This was no simple task. I spoke with experts from their custom shop who specialize in creating any rifle configuration that shooters can dream up, to ammunition specialists who explained their newest launch of the “Black Belt” ammo that has proven excellent ballistic performance. I felt the need to share with my viewers Remington’s new rifles, shotguns, handguns and ammunition. It would be impossible to capture every firearm in the Remington Outdoors Showroom, so I decided to feature two to five new firearms in each of the mentioned categories.
