A father shot and killed an armed robber who threatened him and his children during dinner at a Popeye’s in Texas on Wednesday night, Fox 29 reported.
Andres Herrera, 19, entered the Popeye’s and demanded that Carlos Molina, 32, give him money.
Molina told Herrera that he didn’t have any, since he just used it to pay for his family’s dinner.
Molina asked the robber if he and his family could leave. Herrera agreed.
Molina, his wife and two of his children went to leave, when Herrera pulled a gun on Molina’s other two children who had just come out of the bathroom. Herrera then pointed the gun at the restaurant counter and told the manager to stop running.
Molina pulled out his own legal gun and shot Herrera several times, killing him.
Officers said that Molina fired in defense of a third person, according to Fox 29.
