During Monday Night Football, the latest trailer for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” dropped, leaving millions of Star Wars fans wanting more.
“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is set to release on Dec. 15, but on Monday, Disney released the latest trailer revealing more about the film’s plot.
The film’s director, Rian Johnson, recently warned fans on Twitter to avoid watching the trailer if they didn’t want to have any parts of the movie given away.
“I [am] legitimately torn. If you want to come in clean, absolutely avoid it,” Johnson wrote.
The latest trailer shows Rey training on Ahch-To with Luke Skywalker, who says that he’s “seen this raw strength only once before” and that it didn’t scare him enough back then, but it does now.
Skywalker is supposedly referring to Kylo Ren, who was previously under his tutelage.
Ren can then be seen operating as a fighter pilot hesitating to shoot the ship his mother is in, while saying, “Let the past die. Kill it if you have to. That’s the only way to become what you were meant to be.”
In Star Wars Episode VII, Ren said he aspired to finish what his grandfather, Darth Vader, started years ago.
Finn, Poe and Chewbacca can then be seen fighting the First Order in several action-packed scenes.
A soaked Luke Skywalker is seen lying on the ground telling someone: “This is not going to go the way you think.”
Supreme leader Snoke can be seen torturing Rey.
Rey can then be supposedly seen asking Kylo Ren for someone to show her what her place in “all this” is, as Ren extends his hand.
As previously mentioned in the April “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” trailer, Luke Skywalker says the Jedi must come to an end, revealing that he is not the same hero Rey expected him to be.
