Woman caught on video screaming at veteran for bringing PTSD service dog into restaurant

September 20, 2017

A woman dining out at a Delaware restaurant began yelling and screaming at a veteran and his family while in public recently, for bringing in a service dog into the restaurant.

Footage of the incident at Kathy’s Crab House & Family Restaurant in Delaware City shows the woman yelling at the veteran for having the dog in the restaurant.

“I’m not going to keep my hands to myself,” she says in the video. “I’m gonna voice it just like I did, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

A woman off camera interrupts and says: “He’s alive because he fought for our country!”

“Congratulations,” the woman replies before claiming that her husband’s father fought for the country.

“It’s still nasty to me!” the irate woman continues.

“Y’all can’t change my goddamn opinion. It should be a separate section for a f—ing animal,” she later says.

The woman finally leaves the restaurant after being told by several patrons to do so. However, she comes back after being told, “get the last word, b–ch.”

A man approaches the woman and yells at her to get out immediately, which she finally does.

According to the Americans with Disabilities Act, restaurants are required to admit patrons with service animals; however, the state of Delaware is not required to allow emotional support animals and pets.
