The United States Air Force football team has recently released images of their new helmets they will be wearing for the upcoming college football season.
The U.S. Air Force unveiled the new helmets this year as part of the ongoing “Airpower Legacy Series” modeled after helmets that F-35 pilots wear.
The Air Force helmets will have five different designs.
The first one was released Monday while the other four will be released throughout the week.
From the Air Force Falcon’s website:
“On one side of every helmet will be the familiar Air Force logo often seen on aircraft, which includes the length-wise bars intersecting the roundel. On the other side will be a decal representing one of the five Air Force F-35-A operational fighter squadrons in the Air Force.”
