AMN Video: Sorinex’s S.I.T.T. adds shooting resistance to make you a better tactical shooter

August 23, 2017

Sorinex is an exercise equipment manufacturer that makes all its products in United States and has been in business for more than 37 years.

Sorinex equips collegiate and professional weight rooms, such as the National Football League (NFL), and it entered the military market about 10 years ago.

One of its unique products is the S.I.T.T., a stress-induction tactical trainer that allows the user to become a better shooter. It creates resistance that is not normally present when one is practicing shooting.

Drills include static holds, ready-ups and rotational work, and you can also pull or push the 70-pound sled, which might simulate training in extreme environments.

Sorinex was recently featured at the ADS Warrior East Expo in Virginia Beach.

ADS, Inc., is a company that provides equipment, procurement and support solutions to the defense, military and law enforcement markets.

The Expo is intended to bring customers and companies together to be able to “touch, try and train,” and the event is described as the “equal sign” between consumers and products. There are also opportunities to take educational courses during the Expo.

“Warrior Expo is the embodiment of our mission to actively seek out our customers’ equipment and logistics challenges and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions that enhance their ability to complete their missions,” ADS said. “It is this commitment that has made ADS the world’s premier equipment, procurement and support solutions specialist to the military, law enforcement, first responders and the defense industry.”

The company serves the following markets:

  • Department of Defense
  • Federal Government Agencies
  • First Responders
  • Humanitarian Organizations
  • Partner Nations
  • State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies
  • Major Prime Contractors
