Actor George Clooney is reportedly moving his family back to the United States due to security concerns in England, according to Life & Style magazine.
Life and Style reported last week that Clooney, his wife Amal, and newborn twins Ella and Alexander, will move to his mansion in California because he feels like his family is not safe at his home in the English countryside.
“He doesn’t feel like Amal and the twins are safe living in the English countryside,” an unnamed insider told the magazine. “He’s determined to move his family to LA, where he feels much more secure.”
George Clooney has become more concerned for his family’s safety for years because he has received “serious” threats due to his humanitarian efforts in Darfur, Sudan.
His wife has received threats for her work as an international human rights lawyer and her call for terrorist groups, including ISIS, to be prosecuted by foreign governments.
“As soon as Amal found out she was pregnant, he hired former Secret Service agents to assess all his properties and make recommendations for improvement,” the insider told the magazine. “His mansion in Studio City was deemed the most secure, and it’s within minutes of an LAPD station.”
