Check out this incredibly moving video of an 11-year-old boy who visited Omaha Beach on the 70th anniversary of D-Day to show his utmost respect for the soldiers who fought and died on the Normandy beaches.
The boy created his own personal project called “Project Virgil,” where he spent four days at the American cemetery educating visitors on three paratroopers who were buried there.
After being denied entrance to the cemetery on D-Day, the boy took a World War II era American flag to Omaha beach where he stood for over an hour on the beach saluting and holding the flag by his side.
This boy has shown ultimate respect for his nation’s bravest.
