On April 26, around 9:15 p.m., an armed robber entered a Kansas City Jimmy John’s. He ordered some food and then tried to rack the slide of his semi-automatic pistol. His attempt was unsuccessful but that didn’t stop him from pointing the gun at the worker and demanding money. The video shows the bullet being jammed between the slide and the barrel’s chamber.
Even when the suspect held the barrel of the gun to the cashier’s head, the cashier kept his composure. The video shows the cashier take his gloves off, remove the money from the register and calmly hand it to the suspect. His demeanor never changes.
It is unknown if the cashier knew the gun was jammed. While the suspect was able to flee with money, he was arrested on Friday without incident.
