The U.S. Army Basic Leader Course (BLC), formerly the Warrior Leader Course (WLC) and Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), is the first course of study in the US Army Noncommissioned Officer Education System (NCOES). BLC is a month-long course that trains specialists, corporals, and sergeants in the fundamentals of leadership.
This engaging video presents U.S. soldiers in the Basic Leader Course (BLC) Situational Training Exercise (STX) lanes at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, near Yavoriv, Ukraine. Forty Soldiers from the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team took part in the BLC course while deployed to Ukraine in support of the Joint Multinational Training Group – Ukraine.
