Fox has green-lighted the new “X-Men” television series called “The Gifted.”
The television series follows a family that is forced to go on the run from the government when they discover that their children have mutant powers. They join up with an underground network of mutants in an effort to survive.
Stephen Moyer (True Blood) and Amy Acker (Angel) are the show’s main characters as they play the parents of two mutants.
The show was created by Matt Nix and the pilot was directed by Bryan Singer.
A full trailer will be released on May 15.
