Getting tasered is never a fun experience. However, in this case, the pain can really build up camaraderie. That’s exactly why these United States Marines and Royal Thai Marines decided to endure the pain together and learn just what the weapon they will use on their day to day basis really feels like.
Overall, both service branches seem to take the pain quite well. The female Marines, however, when paired up, don’t even make a peep when the taser hits them.
Some take it much better than others, but the point of the training isn’t to just get shocked. It is important for Marines to really understand how non-lethal weapons really feel so that when they are confronted with a situation in which they might use non-lethal tactics, they can lean on that knowledge and choose which item in their arsenal would be the appropriate amount of non-lethal force.
