Call of Duty is once again taking a step back in time to World War II. The first trailer of the game was released Wednesday and reveals the game will be taking place largely between 1944 and 1945 in Europe.
The trailer starts off with the 1st Infantry Division landing on the beaches of Normandy before fighting their way through Nazi forces in France and Belgium.
“Welcome to the bloody first” one soldier can be seen saying in the trailer.
Call of Duty: WWII will be released on November 3rd on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
Call of Duty has been focusing on modern and post-modern battlefields in the last decade, so having a game that focuses on World War II will be a first in years.
