[UPDATE] – 11:40 AM EST – Images of the pilot that ejected from the jet before the crash are released. Only one pilot was in the aircraft, despite initial reports of two pilots.

Prince George’s County fire department spokesman Mark Brady told WRC-TV that one pilot parachuted out of the plane and was picked up by a military helicopter. Brady also added that homes in the area are being evacuated and there were no other reports of injuries or whether anything on the ground was hit.

On Wednesday morning, reports began that an F-16 fighter jet crashed near Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. Some reports say the jet went down into a home. The two pilots are said to have ejected. According to Fox News,
