A recon team gets awfully close to some Taliban members in this video! In Laghman Province in Afghanistan, these soldiers encounter some heavy fire from the enemy. The sounds of rounds are almost non stop during this firefight.
These soldiers move positions and eventually get the Taliban in a small compound where their best bet is to surround it as well as they can and start the all-out assault. You can hear them saying that the Taliban was within 25 meters and ran into the compound where the soldiers take out the windows and keep an eye out for an RPG man inside.
These soldiers definitely put safety first while at the same time making sure the enemy takes constant rounds. Our soldiers train for moments like this and you can see it in the way they operate under extreme circumstances.
