This video throws us back to to the Chicago Air & Water show of 2010 when comedy legend Vince Vaugh was honored with the opportunity to hangout out and jump out of an airplane with the U.S. Army Golden Knights. Vaughn straps himself to a service member he met less than an hour before jumping without so much as a second though. Talk about having faith in the military!
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, the Golden Knights are a demonstration and competition parachute team of the United States Army. Vaughn takes the leap of faith with SSG Joe Abeln from approximately two and half miles above Chicago. The two plummet 13,000 feet after a spectacular smoke display.
Vince plays the landing oddly cool. It looks like the crash course in being “Army Strong” may have instantly toughened Vaughn up!
