[Update] 11:50 AM – The Secret Service reported that the suspicious package investigation continues, but a suspect is in custody.
On Tuesday, reports of a suspicious package found near the White House caused the grounds to be on lockdown, news outlets reported. The Secret Service tweeted that they are currently investigating.

Reports say a man approached the White House claiming to have a bomb.
