[UPDATE] – The package inside the Dallas VA Medical Center was found to not pose a threat and everyone was allowed back inside the building.
On Monday, the Dallas VA Medical Center was evacuated after a suspicious package was reported inside the building. No details about the device have been released yet.
The Dallas VA Medical Center reported on their Facebook page:
ATTN: Dallas Campus Update #1: Clinical Addition locations of Clinics 1-4, Pharmacy/lab areas and certain parts of 3rd/4th /5th floors are closed due to a bomb scare and appts rescheduled. 3rd shift employees should use east entrance/SCI entrance for reporting to work.
