Whether you believe in any type of afterlife or not, we can probably all agree that if any place was going to be haunted, battlefields would be a good start.
Gettysburg is without question one of the bloodiest battles ever fought on American soil. The battle resulted in 50,000 casualties and can definitely give you that eerie feeling if you’re near the area. There’s even a barn where soldiers were treated for wounds, and of course, a lot of visitors have reported hearing strange noises in it.
Being in an area like Gettysburg can also play tricks with your mind. So you have to take that into account, as well. But, with that many deaths and the gruesomeness that occurred there, it can definitely get you thinking.
