We all know the U.S. military has the most powerful gunships available, but let’s give some love to the Iraqi gunships that wiped out an ISIS convoy fleeing from Fallujah in June 2016. These terrorists thought they could flee Fallujah without any issues, they were dead wrong. Gunfire and rocket strikes stopped ISIS in their tracks, even though some tried to hide in underground bunkers.
A long line of vehicles moving down a single lane road were fired upon by Iraqi forces.
“The coalition destroyed 55 ISIL trucks southwest of Fallujah and we know Iraqi security forces destroyed more,” Colonel Chris Garver said in a tweet.
It’s great to see other countries coming together to fight as one against these cowards. This is only one of many examples out there but this is proof that there are less ISIS fighters today then there was yesterday. We need to keep the fight to these insurgents and strike fear into those thinking about joining.
