Check out this poolee who blurts out “Whats up sir” to a Drill Instructor during an exercise at the Marine Corps Recruiting Station Frederick in Maryland. For all those Marines out there, you know that this is not a good idea. It is a good thing this young man is only a poolee for now. The drill instructor took it easy on him. But for those of you who know what doing this while actually training, you know it’d be a mistake that you only make once.
Check it out to see how Drill Instructor, Sergeant Jason Jarmond reacts. Then go down and see how the official Marine’s Twitter account reacted to this.
Even the official U.S. Marines Twitter account tweeted about it because of how bold it was for the poolee to say it with a smile on his face.
