This footage shows inside the cockpit of an Iraqi Aviation helicopter leading close air support against ISIS. The Iraqi Army Aviation Squadron 55, has by and by brought us into their cockpit via video footage to demonstrate their work.
These pilots, flying the Eurocopter EC-635, are giving close air backing to troops on the ground that are taking the battle to the Islamic State.
The Iraqi Army acquired the EC-635 in 2009, and didn’t get their initial two until 2011. Since getting these light helicopters, they have essentially been utilizing them as air support for troops on the ground, battling Daesh, which is another word for ISIS.
Check it out.
