GoPro athlete Erik Roner straps himself to a lawn chair and 90 weather balloons so that he can float 8,000 feet above the earth and shoot himself down with a shotgun. Does it sound awesome to you? Well it should, because it is.
There’s something about seeing a man free-falling with a shotgun in hand that just makes you say “Wow, what were they thinking!?” Some of our more extreme readers might also be thinking “where can I sign up to give it a try?”
Thankfully, those of us that don’t have access to dozens of weather balloons can live vicariously through Roner thanks to the awesome footage recorded by GoPro.
