U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe Conducts Urban Training With Polish Army During Operation Atlantic Resolve Featured 173rd Brigade Urban Training Exercise

U.S. Army Europe is poised to ensure that America’s commitment to NATO and other European partners remains strong and flexible. To go along with this commitment is European participation on this important effort. Europe’s participation in this plan is called the European Rotational Forces (ERF) and the NATO Response Force (NRF). Together, both help ensure that American and European NATO Partners are prepared for any contingency anywhere inside the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) 51-country area of responsibility.

This video presents the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) who as part of these efforts has been taking part in an important urban training exercise with Polish forces during Operation Atlantic Resolve. Based in Vicenza, Italy, the Sky Soldiers Brigade is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting forces to conduct a full range of military operations across the U.S. European, Central and Africa Command areas of responsibility within 18 hours.
