Members Of NATO Gear Up & Get Tactical Fighting In Order To Learn How To Fight In All Kinds Of WeatherAll Weather readiness.
It’s not every day military members can hit the field and play war, even if you’re infantry. That’s why it’s very important for every unit to make the best out of it whenever an opportunity to grab your gear and head to the field presents itself. Albeit battlefields and battlelines have changed and blurred over time, it remains true that when all the high tech has run it course and all the bombs have been dropped, troops still need to head out to put boots on the ground in order to finish the war.
Another important fact is that with all the fighting that has taken place in a desert environment since the invasion of Kuwait by Saddam Hussein in 1991, most of the battles have been far away from cold weather, where freezing temperatures can challenge the most committed and seasoned of soldiers. This video shows what NATO countries are doing about it.
