Shocking video allegedly captures members of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization saving a dog from being used as a weapon of ISIS after being strapped with an explosive vest.
According to the group who posted the video online, ISIS forces wanted to the dog to cross the front lines and then detonate the bomb using a remote control device.
The video shows four bottles containing explosives strapped to the dog with wires attached to it.
Three PMU fighters, one with a knife in hand, can be seen hovering over the frightened dog and talking about the device to the camera.
ISIS forces have become more desperate as U.S. coalition forces continue to push on ISIS territory and rid Iraq and Syria of the terrorist group.
A large offensive against ISIS forces in Mosul was launched in 2016. Iraqi and coalition forces are working to reclaim the city from ISIS’ hands.
