On September 5, 2015, German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, announced that there are “no limits on the number of asylum seekers” Germany will take in. Merkel said that “as a strong, economically healthy country we have the strength to do what is necessary.” She is now facing cataclysm over her failed migrant policy, and citizens have made it priority to find ways to defend themselves.
The Federal Criminal Police Office reports that migrants committed 142,500 crimes during the first six months of 2016. Germany is now plagued with violent crime including rapes, sexual and physical assaults, stabbings, home invasions, robberies, burglaries and drug trafficking.
Since receiving the open invitation from Merkel, millions of migrants have entered Germany and now many parts of the country are crippled. Entering the country as ‘asylum seekers’ or ‘refugees,’ many entered the country under false pretenses and cannot be located. In order for to protect themselves, a number of German residents are buying illegal weapons from the Internet. The weapons, such as guns and grenades, were purchased from a website called,“Migrant Fright” which has now been taken down.
The website offered self-defense tools that Germans could acquire without going through the “annoying bureaucratic hurdles or annoying paperwork.” The website’s motto was “Protect yourself and your family.” Migrant Fright offered “first-class quality goods, discreetly sent, at a fair price.”
